Terrakion Raid Guide

Terrakion- Flower Pokémon

Terrakion is weak to the following types: Fighting, Ground, Steel, Water, Grass, Psychic, Fairy. Generally speaking, the best counters for it are:Mewtwo, Metagross, and Kyogre. Terrakion can be beaten by 2 players in optimal weather, with max friendship and perfect level 40 counters or by 4 unfriended players using level 20 counters from this guide. When caught, Terrakion will be between 2026 and 2113 cp without a weather boost. In Partly Cloudy weather, Terrakion will be between 2533 and 2641 when caught.

Jirachi is a top tier Steel-Type attacker, but NOTE, it is also fantastic in PVP. If you power up your one Jirachi above 1500 cp, it will become ineligible for Great League. With Level 35 Jirachi you need 3 players.

#7 Espeon

        • ⚔️ Raw Damage: ⭐⭐☆☆☆
        • 🛡️ Survival/Bulk: ⭐⭐☆☆☆
        • 📉 Consistency: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
        • 🌐 Accessibility: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best Moveset: Confusion / Psychic
Espeon Evolves from Eevee. You can evolve any Eevee into an Espeon immediately if you use a ONE TIME naming trick by naming it “Sakura” and using the normal evolution. Otherwise, you need to set Eevee as your Buddy and walk it 10k and receive 2 candies. Evolve it while it is still your buddy, with the GPS active during the day. Eevee is also just a decently common Pokemon in general, with even increased spawns in Partly Cloudy weather which is fairly common.

If all else fails, you can acquire a shiny Eevee from the “Jump Start” Special Research quest part 4/6. Eevee is also a quest reward for the “Evolve a Pokemon” Field Research quests. “A Ripple in Time” Special Research also rewards a normal Eevee in both part 3 and part 4. Eevee was also featured in the Field Research Rewards. Future Sight used to be the superior moveset, but after Psychic got buffed it is now superior. Eevee currently can be found in nests. With Level 35 Espeon you need 3 players.

        • 📉 Consistency: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
        • 🌐 Accessibility: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆

        • Best Estimator VS: Smack Down / Earthquake
        • Best Ranking VS: Smack Down / Rock Slide
        • Type Interactions:

#9 Machamp

        • ⚔️ Raw Damage: ⭐⭐☆☆☆
        • 🛡️ Survival/Bulk: ⭐⭐☆☆☆
        • 📉 Consistency: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
        • 🌐 Accessibility: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best Moveset: Counter / Dynamic Punch
Machamp stands as the pokemon with the longest cumulative duration it has spent as a raid boss, being one of the very first AND most frequently returning. If you’ve been playing long enough to participate in Tier 3 raids its likely you have a Machamp or a dozen. They also have been an incredibly useful Fighting Type since the game’s inception.

It is likely soon going to be outclassed as a Fighting-Type by many Gen 5 Pokemon (assuming they get good moves). Machop currently can be found in nests. With Level 35 Machamp you need 3 players.

        • Alternative Fast Moves: Bullet Punch, Karate Chop

        • 🛡️ Survival/Bulk: ⭐☆☆☆☆
        • 📉 Consistency: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆
        • 🌐 Accessibility: ⭐⭐☆☆☆

Best Moveset: Confusion / Psychic (Elite TM)
Abra is boosted a ton during windy weather. Psychic sadly is no longer available on Alakazam (it is now superior to Future Sight). There are a lot of Psychic pokemon with Psychic as an attack, so Alakazam has a lot of competition for the “Second Best” Psychic-Type now. Abra currently can be found in nests. With Level 35 Alakazam you need 3 players.

        • 🛡️ Survival/Bulk: ⭐☆☆☆☆
        • 📉 Consistency: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
        • 🌐 Accessibility: ⭐☆☆☆☆

Best Moveset: Counter / Aura Sphere
Riolu is an egg exclusive pokemon sadly, one of the absolute rarest and highly desired ones in fact. It was added October 2018th. It isn’t easy to power up and has a walking distance of 10k. There are increased chances of finding one in a 7k Alolan egg instead of normal 10ks. You also have better chances if you get difficult Adventure Sync eggs. if you collect your weekly adventure sync reward and have earned the 50k distance, AND have an available egg slot, you will get an egg with a skewed hatch pool. With Level 35 Lucario you need 3 players.

        • 📉 Consistency: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
        • 🌐 Accessibility: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆

Best Moveset: Mud Shot / Earthquake
Groudon is a Legendary Pokemon and thus can only be gotten in time limited ways, by being featured in Event Raids or Field Research Breakthroughs. Garchomp, while a great Dragon AND Ground-Type attacker (and one with resistance to Rock and triple resistance to Electric) is very difficult to acquire for now.
